Four people were transported to hospital, say South Simcoe Police, after a pair of jeeps collided around 8 p.m. on Saturday at Lockhart Road and the 20th Sideroad in Innisfil.

The driver of one the Jeeps, a 55-year-old man, and the male passenger, age 39, both from Innisfil, were taken to a local hospital in critical condition then transferred to a Toronto trauma centre.

The 18-year-old male driver from Barrie and the 18-year-old female passenger from Innisfil in the second Jeep were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police are appealing to witnesses, and anyone with dash camera footage, to contact Constable Carlos Pinho at carlos.pinho@southsimcoepolice.ca or 905-775-3311, extension 2017, or contact Crime Stoppers.
