A drug investigation by police that spanned several months culminated with five search warrants being executed on Monday.
A Barrie man, 32, and a 21-year-old Barrie woman face a number of drug-related charges including:
- Three counts of possession of a controlled substance
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Procession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000
Along with the recovery of two vehicles, police said they also seized 2.5 kg of cocaine, oxycodone pills, MDMA (ecstasy) and Canadian cash.
The suspects were released from custody with a court date.
