A single-vehicle rollover in Bradford has now resulted in charges against a 31-year-old Barrie man including attempted murder.

Around 4 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, South Simcoe Police (SSP) responded to a single-vehicle rollover in the area of Line 11 and Sideroad 10.

Police say the male and female occupants managed to get out of the overturned vehicle and were treated for minor injuries by paramedics at the scene.

"The investigation determined the collision and injuries to the female were a result of intimate partner violence," SSP stated in a news release on Monday.

The suspect is also facing charges of dangerous operation of a vehicle, uttering death threats and assault.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.
