South Simcoe Police have charged a Barrie man with impaired after they received a call of a pickup truck, equipped with a snow plow, operating in a "bizarre manner".

Police say they were alerted on Saturday by the motorist who followed the driver from Highway 400 to Bradford’s 10th Sideroad until the caller lost the vehicle.

Authorities stopped the truck while turning from the 8th line to Yonge Street.

Police charged a 34-year-old man with impaired driving.

His vehicle was impounded for seven days and his licence was suspended for 90-days.
