Touring to promote their new single, Saskatchewan rock band "W3APONS" will be at the Foxx Lounge Rock Bar on May 9th.
Produced by guitarist John-Angus MacDonald from The Trews, this 3 piece band of Tallus Scott, Myk Ulan-Hohol, and Jordan Welbourne was formed when the members played a show together in their hometown of Saskatoon and realized they had a special on-stage connection and mutual love of rock. Jordan's love of the Trews pushed him to work for a meeting with John Angus and the two immediately hit it off. Jordan said, "I think our mutual love for Appetite for Destruction (by Guns N Roses) solidified the new friendship!"
W3APONS recorded their single with the philosophy "To play music that rocks, that doesn’t compromise, and is for the audience. We love to be loud, and we love to find modern ways to pay homage to the great classic bands that we love". Check out their brand new single "Off the Top of My Heart" below.
The 19+ event starts at 8 PM and tickets are only $5! Along with the headliners, bands Ink and The Crooked will also be performing. W3APONS has a sound that will surely propel them into the rock spotlight and this is your chance to hear them before they inevitably blow up!
