MIB International
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson reunite once again in MIB International. The pair had great chemistry in both Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame so lets hope we have as much fun watching as I'm sure they had filming! While early reviews are somewhat middling, this blockbuster is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) so you may want to decide for yourself.
Late Night
This comedy-drama stars Mindy Kaling (The Office) and the always wonderful Emma Thompson as two women trying to revitalize a tired talk show career. Written by Mindy Kaling, hopefully, she brings some of that sharp writing she does so well! Early reviews for this movie are looking favorable, receiving low 7's to mid 8's.
Shaft
Your final release of the weekend is Shaft, the story of an FBI cybersecurity expert who must (with some reluctance) enlist the help of his family, including his shoot first and ask questions later style father, John Shaft. With a good mix of comedy and action, Shaft looks like a role Samuel L. Jackson was born to play! No early reviews for this one yet so you'll have to just jump right in!
That's a wrap!
