Directing some of the best films ever made, including Goodfellas, Casino, Gangs of New York, and The Departed, Martin Scorsese is no stranger to telling a good crime-drama story and his next film looks to carry on this tradition.
With the screenplay adapted from a novel of the same name, Killers of the Flower Moon follows a series of murders that took place in Oklahoma in the early 1920s and the birth of the FBI. Scorsese will be accompanied by the usual suspects including Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro in the lead roles.
With the film still being in pre-production, along with the fact that his last film, The Irishman, released in 2019, it will still be a while before we get to see this one. However, by that time we might be able to watch it in an actual movie theatre.
