Orillia OPP Auxiliary Program collected over 1,489 pounds of food items and $1,441 in monetary donations to support The Sharing Place in Orillia.
Members of the OPP Auxiliary organized and collected food in partnership with The Sharing Place Orillia and Zehrs Orillia this past Saturday, April 9.
OPP say they would like to thank the generosity of the community.
"It is wonderful to see the Orillia OPP Auxiliary continuing to strengthen our community through supporting community Partners," said Chris Peacock, Executive Director of The Sharing Place.
"We could not provide the support we do at The Sharing Place without the collective impact of amazing partners like the OPP Auxiliary."
