Southern Georgian Bay OPP say they've made an arrest after a brazen daytime robbery at a business in Midland.
On Monday, April 11, around noon, police say a man entered a business on King Street, then left for a few minutes before returning to the business and smashing a display case.
Officers say the accused then removed merchandise from the broken case and fled on foot. The owner of the business pursued the man, however, he escaped in a nearby vehicle.
OPP, along with a forensic unit, attended the scene and investigated.
As a result, police say a 32-year-old Midland man is facing multiple charges including robbery with violence, theft over $5,000, and dangerous driving.
OPP say the accused was released from custody and is scheduled for a future court date.
