After making is clear that Wonder Women 1984 would not skip its theatrical release, Warner Bros debating between two planned release strategies.
One of those strategies would be to continue with the planned release on December 25th followed by an early streaming release in January. Wonder Women 1984 has already been delayed three times and was originally set to release all the way back in November 2019. Releasing a film digitally has been a strategy that has worked for companies like Disney so it stands to reason it might work for other companies too.
Unfortunately, there is a caveat to go along with this news because the other strategy they are wrestling with is to delay the movie, once again, to Summer 2021. With so many delays, hopefully, they go with the former.
