Located in Downtown Barrie, Spare Room Studios is hosting a special art exhibit featuring a series of watercolour portraits by local artist Jaime McNair.
Titled The Face Mask Project, this art show is "...a way to juxtapose and reconcile these old and new realities. Combining the passions and joys of pre-pandemic life with the symbol of post-pandemic isolation and distance." While we know many people just want to put some blinders up and can't wait for this all to be over, but it is always delightful to see someone using the unfortunate circumstances we find ourselves in to create something beautiful.
The art show will follow all safety precautions such as mandatory masks, limited capacity, and marked guidelines. The exhibit will be open to the public from November 24th to 26th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM or you can book your own half-hour time slot where you will be able to discuss the work with the artists who created it.
