It seems like you don't have to look very far nowadays to find a movie series set in an extended universe and the new trailer for Godzilla vs. Kong combines two of film's biggest baddies.
Combining 2014's Godzilla and 2017's Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla vs. Kong is the next chapter in the cinematic monster-verse that will pit two of films' greatest icons against each other. While Max Borenstein, the writer of the first two films, is one of the writers for Godzilla vs. Kong, Eric Pearson, who has helped write a few Marvel films including Thor: Ragnarok, also worked on this script so at least there is someone with experience fleshing out an extended universe. The film will star Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall, and Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
Barring any delays, Godzilla vs. Kong is set to release on March, 21st 2021.
