Arrest made regarding death from a two-vehicle collision in Wasaga Beach

Huronia West OPP have made an arrest regarding a death from a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Wasaga Beach on April 9.

Just prior to midnight on Saturday, April 09, OPP, along with emergency services, responded to the collision on Mosley Street.

Police say both drivers were transported to hospital - one was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.

A 44-year-old Wasaga Beach man has been charged with dangerous operation causing death.

The accused is scheduled for court in Collingwood in mid-May.

Police continue appealing to any witnesses who may have witnessed the crash or be in possession of dashcam footage to assist with the investigation.
