Since 1995, we 90's kids have wondered who Alanis Morissette was talking about in her breakup song "You Outta Know."
One name that's popped up through the decades is Full House and Fuller House star, Dave Coulier, although it's never been confirmed the song if about him.
Could Uncle Joey really be responsible for inflicting such raw emotion in someone?
Coulier and Morissette dated in the early '90s before her album "Jagged Little Pill."
During that time, Coulier says Alanis was never an angry person, calling her sweet, funny, and talented.
In his interview on SiriusXM he recalled the first time he heard "You Outta Know."
"I'm listening to the lyrics going, 'Ooh, oh, no! Oh, I can't be this guy.' I went and bought the cd, and there was a lot of familiar stuff that she and I had talked about. Like, (the line in "Right Through You") when she says your shake is like a fish'. I'd go, 'Hey, dead fish me,' and we'd do this dead fish handshake."
"At that point, he thought, 'Ooh, I think I may have really hurt this woman."
Years later, the two reconnected, and he says she couldn't have been sweeter.
"I asked her then, 'what do you want me to say when people ask me about this relationship?' and she said, 'whatever you want.'"
He then recalls a time years ago when Alanis drove from Toronto to Detroit with her guitar to be with Coulier's dying sister so she could sing to her in the hospital.
That's the kind of person she is; she's lovely.
The SiriusXM hosts had to ask the obvious question about the movie theatre lyric in "You Outta Know."
Coulier laughed, "you know, you do that popcorn cup trick once, and it backfires on ya!"
