For the first time since 2017, Hugh Jackman will play "Wolverine."
Ryan Reynolds announced that "Deadpool 3" is on the way and will feature the iconic X-Men character.
Reynolds posted a video on Instagram explaining they had been busy filming the movie, stating, "But we did have one idea … Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?"
You then see Hugh in the background brushing his teeth, responding with, "Sure, Ryan."
The video ends with Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" playing.
It's phenomenal news for Wolverine Fans.
Jackman has said that playing the character was a role of a lifetime, but that 2017's "Logan" was his Swan song to Wolverine.
"Deadpool 3" marks the movie's entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney's purchase of 20th Century Fox.
It's expected out on September 6, 2024
