Glee has been off the air since 2015, but we continue to hear about the show, its stars, and its many controversies.

The behind-the-scenes drama is big enough to prompt a three-part docuseries.

It will feature interviews with the cast and crew and re-live the show's highs and lows, including the heartbreaking death of a few of its stars.

Halfway through the series run, star Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson died from a suspected heroin overdose.

When the series ended, Mark Salling, who played Puck, committed suicide following his conviction on child pornography charges.

In 2020, star Naya Rivera, who played Santana, drowned in a lake near Santa Clarita, California.

In the last few years, the show's lead, Lea Michele has been accused of bad behaviour and racism by several former cast mates, claiming she fostered a toxic work environment.

The show premiered on Fox in 2009 and was a huge hit from the start, coining the term 'Gleek'(Someone who loved the show)

High school kids across North America were suddenly interested in joining the Glee Club, hoping it would be just as cool.

It also starred Matthew Morrison, the club's teacher Will Schuster, and Jane Lynch as the Cheerleading coach, Sue Sylvester.

The three-part docuseries will premiere on Discovery +.
No word on when it will air.
