Actor Jeremy Renner posted a quick update on how he's doing after suffering a serious accident involving a snow plow in Nevada on New Year's Day.
The Marvel star shared a selfie from his hospital bed, saying, "Thank you all for your kind words. . I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
The incident happened when Renner was helping a family member dig their car out of the snow by using his snow plow.
The area had received a significant amount the day prior, and Renner was helping his family and neighbour dig out of the storm.
Reports say Renner got out of the plow to talk with the driver of the car, when the machine began to move on its own. He tried to get back into the vehicle when he was run over.
Renner suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries in the accident. He had surgery on January 2, after which he was reported to be in critical but stable condition.
