It was the return of the Golden Globes ceremony after scandal, and the pandemic rocked the award show over the last few years.
One of the best acceptance speeches of the night was from veteran comedian Eddie Murphy.
Murphy received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment."
During his acceptance speech, the 61-year-old had some extremely important advice for those in Hollywood and worldwide.
"I want to let you know that there is a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity, longevity and peace of mind. It's very simple;
"Pay your taxes, mind your business and keep Will Smith's wife's name out your f—king mouth!"
The final comment was, of course, about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.
Later in the press room, Murphy acknowledged that he loved Will Smith and Chris Rock.
