Another oldie-but-goodie song has resurged in popularity thanks to a television show.
Linda Ronstadt's "Long, Long Time" has jumped in Spotify streams after being featured on the latest episode of "The Last of Us."
The song is played in episode 3 in a scene between Nick Offerman (Bill) and Murray Bartlett (Frank.)
It's played again when Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) find a Linda Ronstadt tape and play it on an old car radio.
The hit was originally released in 1970 from Ronstadt's Silk Purse album.
It peaked at No. 25 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart back then.
Spotify announced a 4900% increase in the songs streams since Sunday's episode aired.

A similar thing happened twice last year when Kate Bush's 'Running up that Hill' and Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' were featured on 'Stranger Things.'
It's too early to tell if Ronstadt's hit will dramatically rise like Kate Bush and Metallica, but it warms the heart to hear the forgotten classics get new life.
