Rihanna is working hard preparing for her highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance.
Sunday's show is her first time on stage in 7 years and she recently shared the hardest part about getting prepared.
"Trying to cram 17 years of music into 13 minutes," she said during a press conference.
"That was the hardest part, and it's still a work in progress. Deciding how to maximize 13 minutes but also celebrate. That's what this show's going to be. It's going to be a celebration of my catalogue."
During a press conference she explained that she was hesitant to take the gig but knew the timing was perfect.
"When you become a mom, there's something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world, you could do anything. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. So, as scary as that was -- because I haven't been onstage in seven years -- there's something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. And it's important for me to do this. It's important for representation, it's important for my son to see that."
She did drop some hints on what we can expect at the show, saying she plans to incorporate elements of Caribbean culture.
"That's a big part of why this is important for me to do this show — representation, representing for immigrants, representing for my country of Barbados, representing for Black women everywhere. That's really important."
The Super Bowl will kick off on the evening of Feb. 12.
