A year after it happened, Chris Rock is ready to address the Oscar slap.
The comedian is gearing up for his first "Live" Netflix special this weekend, and reports say he will address being slapped by Will Smith at the Oscars in 2022.
According to page six, a source explained, "If you were waiting to see Rock on tour address the infamous Will Smith slap situation. . . the comedian is waiting to spill his humorous take on it on his live Netflix stand-up special."
Rock has remained relatively quiet since the incident but plans to spill his beans at the end of his show so the material will not dominate his comedy special.
A source hints" "People need to tune in till the last joke. They will not be disappointed."
"Chris Rock: Selective Outrage" airs live on Saturday at 10 p-m Eastern on Netflix. The pre-show starring Ronny Chieng of "The Daily Show" starts at 9:30.
This is the first time Netflix has held a live event.
