Millions of women have or will have the uncomfortable feeling of hot flashes, but not all get their first captured on film.
During a recent taping of "The Drew Barrymore Show," host Drew experienced her first perimenopausal hot flash.
When it happened, she was interviewing her good pals Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. She had to stop talking momentarily and started taking off her coat and unbuttoning her blouse to get some airflow.
She said, " I think in having my first hot flash."
To which Aniston replied, " I feel so honoured."
Aniston placed her hand on Barrymore's collarbone and said she felt the internal heat. Sandler felt Barrymore's hand and said she had a hot hand.
He then joked that a hot flash was supposed to be followed by a very angry mood swing so she could bring that out soon.
Thankfully for Sandler, I don't think she has a mean bone in her body.
Poor Drew, many women felt what you did at that moment. Keep cool!
