Very slight spoiler for Barbie movie ahead
Another way for generation Z to make me feel old.
A Tiktoker is getting a bit of push back after revealing she never heard of the 90's band 'Matchbox 20' and thought the song 'Push' was written for the film.

The user known as Fat Megan posted a video of her listening to the hit song with the caption "I thought they wrote this song for the movie the same way they wrote I'm Just Ken but [IT'S] A REAL SONG. [IT'S] A COVER?! It's a real song a person wrote and sang. I'm gooped."
If you saw the Barbie movie, you know that Ryan Gosling's character Ken falls in love with the song "Push," released by Matchbox 20 in 1996.
He likes it so much that he serenades his love with it for four solid hours while looking awkwardly into her eyes.
Fats Megan's followers were dismayed she didn't know the song was ingrained into the 1990's.
It's her clapback saying they aren't that popular that gets me.
Other comments included, "This is my favorite song of all time….. and you didn't know it was real?? Literally wearing a Matchbox Twenty tshirt right now."
However, some people agreed with her, with one saying "same, i thought it was 100% satire like im just Ken, but people actually listened to this and were like awww?????
Excuse me while I put on my band t-shirt, Skate Shoes, straighten my hair and play Push on my CD player I bought from HMV.
