Nevermind, it does. A new liquor that tastes and smells just like Doritos is just what you need to complete your liquor cabinet.
The makers of the snack aisle staple have teamed with Empirical Spirits to release an 84-proof clear liquor.
In a release, the booze makers explained, "to truly capture the essence of the iconic chip brand, layers of Doritos nacho cheese were "extracted" using real chips through vacuum distillation, which helps preserve original flavour."
A description of the cheesy drink by foodandwine.com says, "The bouquet is brimming with the unmistakable tang of cheese dust. But in the sip, it's all about cornier elements. It leaves your palate with a drying note, akin to what accumulates on your tongue after you crush a sizable bag of corn chips. In other words, it's maybe more Fritos than Doritos.
Unfortunately, it won't be available for Christmas, but you can pre-order online for $65 a bottle starting today.
