
One woman in Barrie may have taken the lyrics to "Strawberry Fields Forever" a bit too literally.
Wednesday at 4:34 p.m., Barrie Police officers responded to a report of an unknown female who was reportedly lying on the table of a fruit and vegetable stand on Mapleview Drive, and destroying produce that were to be sold.
The woman was found on the table by police with damaged produce surrounding her. It was determined that the total loss to the business was $45.

She was then taken into custody by officers, brought to Barrie Police Headquarters, and booked on three charges including mischief under $5,000.
She was also handed a fraud under $5,000 charge which stemmed from an earlier, unrelated incident.
Her court date is scheduled for July 14 in Barrie, and she has since been released from custody.
