When you rent an Airbnb, there are some things you are not supposed to do, such as taking items that aren't yours.

Ontario Provincial Police have charged a man and a woman from Meaford with theft-related offences for allegedly stealing a large amount of furniture and appliances from an Airbnb they rented in Clearview Township in March.

The investigation led police to a storage locker in the Collingwood area that had been rented by the accused. A search warrant was exeuted at the storage facility where police say some of the stolen property was located.

A 43-year-old and a 36-year-old have both been charged with theft and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
