During the stop around 9:30 Sunday morning, police say the motorist also had a spare tire on the driver's side front that was rated for a top speed of 80 km/h.

The man was charged with stunt driving and having an improper tire.

His vehicle was impounded for 14 days, and his driver's licence was suspended for 30 days.

Police did not disclose where on Highway 400 the traffic stop was conducted.
