Provincial police say a suspect was arrested in an armed robbery investigation at a downtown Collingwood business.
Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP say the robbery happened on Sunday around 9 p.m.
"A suspect attended a business in Collingwood, produced a firearm and asked the employee to open the cash register," OPP reported in a release on Tuesday.
"The employee complied and the suspect eventually left the business with an undisclosed amount of money."
According to police, there were no injuries to the employee.

The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the canine unit searched the area and officials say the suspect was located within an hour and a half.
A 44-year-old Collingwood man was arrested and transported to police headquarters for further investigation. Police say the weapon brandished in the incident is believed to be a replica firearm/BB gun.
The accused was charged with:
- Robbery Using a Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon
- Pointing a Firearm
- Use a Firearm While Committing an Offence
He was held for a bail hearing on Monday.
