Barrie police responded to an incident Friday evening where a car crashed into a home.
Officers say just 6:45 p.m., two cars were reportedly racing westbound on Grove Street East and made contact.
The collision, according to police, caused one car to lose control and struck the Jeffrey Street house, while the other car travelled onto the front lawn.
Police officials told Barrie 360 that the driver of the car that struck the home, a female from Bradford, was taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle is a male from Barrie.
Both drivers face a charge of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
