Comprehensive Support for Diverse Developmental Needs
Since opening in 2019, UMA has been providing specialized services to families across Simcoe County, York, and the Greater Toronto Area. The academy’s expertise spans a broad range of developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), speech and language disorders, sensory processing issues, and mental health concerns like anxiety and depression. The academy also supports children with developmental delays, Tourette’s Syndrome, acquired brain injuries, and more.

UMA is a Ministry of Education Licensed Private School in Ontario. It operates under the guidance of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and a Registered Clinical Psychologist, ensuring that all programs adhere to the highest standards of care. The school serves children from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, with classes running Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. To accommodate working families, UMA also offers before- and after-school care, beginning at 6:45 AM and ending at 6:00 PM.
Expert-Led Classrooms and Personalized Care

The classrooms are run by Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) and ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapists, supported by Educational Assistants.
