7-UP is getting sweeter by becoming a "Shirley Temple."
The company is releasing the classic drink in a single can which combines pomegranate and cherry soda.
According to the food account @snackolator, the limited edition drink will be available in time for the holiday season, maybe as soon as late October.
The sweet treat will be available in regular and zero sugar.
People are already thinking about using this drink for their holiday celebrations including making ice cream floats, and using it in baking.
The classic Shirley Temple drink consists of a lime soda such as 7-UP, and grenadine served over ice and a maraschino cherry for garnish.
Legend has it a bartender made it special for the young Shirley Temple to enjoy while the adults were served fancy adult drinks.
