Three people face a slew of criminal charges after police executed a search warrant Wednesday at a Barrie Road address in Orillia.
This was the result of an investigation into drug trafficking in the city, police said.
As a result, police say they seized fentanyl, cocaine, methadone, hydromorphone pills, oxycodone pills, a prohibited knife and multiple cellphones.
A 31 year old man from Orillia has been charged with:
Adult Assault with a Weapon
Adult Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm
Adult Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order x 3
Adult Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 6
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Fentanyl, Cocaine, Methadone, Oxycodone, & Hydromorphone
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
A 30-year-old Orillia man has been charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Methadone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Oxycodone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Hydromorphone
Possession of property obtained by crime
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
The accused was released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.
A 21-year-old Orillia woman was charged with:
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Fentanyl
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Methadone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Oxycodone
Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Hydromorphone
Possession of property obtained by crime
