Multiple weapon and drug charges have been laid by Nottawasaga OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) with the arrest of three people following an investigation that began in August.
On Thursday around 11:40 a.m., police say search warrants were executed at three residences in Barrie, Essa Township and Tay Township.
As a result of the investigation, police say they seized cocaine, 4 imitation handguns, a switchblade knife, 494 pieces of ammunition(blank), drug trafficking paraphernalia, about $5,000 in cash, approximately $20,000 in jewelry, unmarked cigarettes, and vehicles in relation to the offence.
Two Angus residents, ages 38 and 42, and a 38-year-old from Barrie have been charged.
Police also charged the Barrie resident with four counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused were held for bail to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie.
