Four people face impaired driving charges from over the weekend, with three of the four occurrences involving collisions - including into a tree, a ditch, and parked cars.
On Sunday, just before 1 a.m., police were called to the area of Blue Dasher Boulevard and Sundragon Trail in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury regarding a vehicle that had struck multiple parked cars.
As a result, a 58-year-old Bradford resident was charged with dangerous operation, and operation while impaired.
Around 10:30 p.m., on Saturday, police conducted a traffic stop after responding to a disturbance inside a vehicle in the area of Barrie Street and Scanlon Avenue in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
A 24-year-old Bradford male was charged with operation while impaired.
While on Friday at approximately 11:25 p.m., police responded to a single-vehicle crash into a tree in the area of Trailside Drive and Vista Drive in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Police say there were no injuries.
As a result of an investigation, a 35-year-old Bradford resident was charged with operation while impaired.
And on Friday around 7:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch at the intersection of 20th Sideroad and 3rd Line in Innisfil.
No injuries were reported.
A 35-year-old Milton resident faces impaired driving charges, and had their licence suspended for 90 days and their vehicle impounded for seven days.
Police say 100 per cent of impaired driving incidents are preventable and not worth the risk - make good choices and do your part for road safety.
