OPP have charged a person in connection to a theft investigation at the Royal Canadian Legion in Gravenhurst.

Bracebridge OPP say they initiated the probe on November 16, 2024.

Two people were initially arrested back in November and the theft included "irreplaceable" World War 1 and World War 2 memorabilia, clothing, and a wheelchair.

"Further information was provided that the suspect had listed the stolen items on an online marketplace," officers wrote in a release on Friday evening.

A 49-year-old Gravenhurst woman was arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime CC 354(1)(a)
  • Trafficking in Stolen Goods CC 355.5(b)

She has a court date scheduled for February.
