A 22-year-old man from Utopia was killed after a snowmobile collided with a truck in Springwater Township.
Ontario Provincial Police say they responded with firefighters and paramedics shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday to a collision on George Johnston Road near Snow Valley Road.
"Poor visibility due to heavy snowfall and wind were factors in the collision," according to police.
OPP say the collision happened in the area of a trail that crosses George Johnston Road.
The driver of the snowmobile was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver was uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing.
