Barrie police delivered the goods to a delivery truck driver in the form of charges, a driver's licence suspension and a vehicle impound.
Police say they received complaints from the community Thursday afternoon about speed-related concerns, loud vehicles and racing in the area of Essa Road and Salem Road.
As a result, officers conducting enforcement in the area pulled over a delivery truck clocked travelling 105 km/h per hour in a 60 km/h zone on Essa Road.
The 41-year-old driver from Toronto was charged with speeding and stunt driver.
His driver's licence has been suspended for 30 days, and the delivery truck he operated has been impounded for 14 days.
"The Barrie Police Service wish to acknowledge the concerns identified in the complaint that was received, and yesterday’s enforcement and vehicle impoundment serves as an excellent example of the positive outcome that can result when the community and police work together and fully supports the concept that road safety is a shared responsibility," police said in a news release.
