An Innisfil man won $100,000 in the Lotto 6/49 Super Draw on Dec. 25.

The 39-year-old father of two didn't purchase the ticket because it was a gift from his dad.

"I was at a home when I decided to check my Lotto 6/49 ticket on the OLG app," Nicholas Adema said in a news release from OLG. "When I saw the winning message and prize amount, I was left in disbelief. I had to scan my ticket several times to make sure I was seeing it right. I was shocked."

Adema says winning has been a "surreal experience."

For the time being, Adema plans to put that money away for a rainy day.
