Provincial police say a Simcoe County Road 93 resident saw a sight from their home - a grey Nissan going airborne after hitting a driveway culvert - the motorist faces impaired driving charges.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP say the call came through around 11:20 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 18, and the lone driver was arrested at the scene
A 42-year-old Penetanguishene man faces the following charges:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operating a motor vehicle with liquor readily available
The accused was released on a recognizance to appear in court at the beginning of December.
He also faces a 90-day drivers licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
