
Emergency services responded Saturday to a collision between a snowmobile and a motor vehicle at the intersection of Highway 12 and Atherley Road in the City of Orillia.
At approximately 12:00 p.m., officers from the Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Orillia Fire and Simcoe County Paramedics, arrived to find both vehicles with substantial damage.

As a result of the collision, two individuals sustained serious, life-altering injuries and were transported to Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The intersection remains closed as authorities continue their examination of the scene.
