Barrie police charged a 65-year-old with stunt driving.

On Saturday, police say a vehicle was clocked travelling 101 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on Mapleview Dr. E., west of Welham Road.

As a result, the accused has lost his vehicle for 14 days and his driver's licence has been suspended for 30 days.

Meanwhile, Nottawasaga OPP charged a motorist with stunt and impaired driving after pulling over a truck on Highway 89, east of County Road 56, in New Tecumseth.

Police say the vehicle registered a speed of 130 km/h in an 80-zone.

The officer asked the motorist to provide documents to the vehicle and a valid driver's licence.

During the discussion, police say the officer formed grounds of impairment and issued an alcohol screening device demand which the driver failed.

A 25-year-old woman from Holland Landing was charged with stunt driving and impaired driver.

As a result, her vehicle was impounded and her driver's licence was suspended.
