
A decade has passed since people argued over the colour of a dress and nearly wrecked the internet.
On February 26, 2015, someone posted a picture of a dress; depending on who you were, you saw something different than others.

Many people saw a white dress with gold trim, while others saw a blue dress with black trim.
People got passionate about it! Families broke up. Friends fought. Neighbours turned against each other.
Okay, I'm just joking about that, but there was a lot of frustration.
It was eventually proven the dress was indeed blue and black, even though a majority saw it differently.
One reason given was that it was an optical illusion caused by weird lighting and an overexposed background. There's a chance you still see white and gold.
