A tip from the public about a suspected impaired driver assisted Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Orillia who received a report shortly after 10:30 p.m. Thursday about a possible drunk person leaving a restaurant in a vehicle on Coldwater Road at Peter Street.
Officers soon located the vehicle on Highway 12.
A 30-year-old Oro-Medonte woman was charged with impaired driving by alcohol and operation while impaired (80 plus).
