Provincial police launched an impaired driving investigation in a farmer's field off Highway 93, south of Wyebridge, in Tiny Township.

A motorist alerted paramedics early Saturday evening about a vehicle stuck in a field.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP were also contacted and launched into an impaired driving investigation after speaking with the driver. They also began a probe into several other incidents.

As a result, a 26-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with two impaired driving offences, and one count each of failing to comply with a probation order, taking a motor vehicle without consent, and indecent act.

The accused was released from custody with an April 17 court date.
