A sight to behold for provincial police in Alliston.

Nottawasaga OPP say officers were doing regular patrols just before 4 a.m. on Saturday and located a vehicle in a parking lot with its engine running and lights on, partially parked in the bushes.

"Officers approached the vehicle, where they observed two open bottles of vodka sitting on the driver's seat with a male party sleeping in his underwear," according to an OPP media release.

Police say the officers were able to awaken the man, at which time they say he exited the vehicle while stumbling on his feet and slurring his words, and the smell of alcohol was on his breath.

A 45-year-old from Barrie was charged with impaired driving and driving a vehicle with alcohol readily available.

In addition to the charges, the driver was issued a 90-day licence suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
