Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with an assault in Penetanguishene.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday, police say they received a report of an individual laying on the road near the intersection of Main and Poyntz Street.
The victim, who was located by officers, appeared to be suffering from trauma to the body.
The 37-year-old from Penetanguishene was taken by paramedics to a Toronto-area trauma hospital for treatment.
Investigators are appealing for anyone with information, including dash cam or surveillance video, to contact police.
