Barrie police say at least nine vehicles sustained damage, including slashed tires, after a person went on a spree in the north end of the city.
Police say they were contacted shortly after 11:30 on Sunday night about a suspicious male who was seen damaging parked cars on Sherwood Court.
From the investigation that followed, it was determined the person targeted vehicles in the Sherwood Court and Hodgson Drive area.

Besides slashed tires, some vehicles also sustained scratches to the hood and trunk area.
Police say the suspect was wearing a baseball cap, a dark-coloured t-shirt and shorts.
"Although some video surveillance has been located, police are asking people who live in the area to check their video surveillance cameras to see if they may have captured any images or video of the suspect," police said in a news release.
