
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have released a sketch of a suspect in connection with the assault of a woman at the Barrie Community Sports Complex located in Springwater Township.
Police say around 10:30 p.m. on June 23, a woman was walking her dogs on a nearby trail at the complex off Highway 26 and Nursery Road.
They say a man grabbed her and forced her to the ground.

She was able to fight him off and call 911.
The woman suffered minor injuries.
Also on Thursday, police provided an updated description of the suspect, who they say is white, in his 40s, about 5'10", with a husky build, short dark hair or pulled back, a bushy brown or reddish beard, and he has a dark tattoo on his forearm.
Police would like to hear from anyone with dashcam or other video from the area of the alleged incident.
