A Barrie man has been charged with impaired driving after a vehicle crashed into two parked cars in the city's east end.
Police were called to Wellington Street East, west of St. Vincent Street, just before 11 Monday night where they determined two cars parked on the north side of the street had been hit. Police say a roadside breath test was administered, which the driver failed.
The 36-year-old motorist was also charged with breaching a court order. He was given an August court date.
As a result of the drunk driving charge, his car was impounded for seven days and his driver's licence was suspended for 30 days.
