
Two individuals from Hamilton were arrested and charged with drug related charges after Huronia West OPP's weeks-long drug trafficking investigation.
The Huronia West and Collingwood community street crime units investigated drug trafficking in the Wasaga Beach, Elmvale, and Collingwood areas. Eventually, the Collingwood unit was able to identify the occupants of a residence in Elmvale suspected of selling cocaine and fentanyl.
Both teams executed a search warrant at the residence Friday and sized a large amount of illegal goods and related paraphernalia.

CHARGES
The two individuals from Hamilton were each arrested and charged for possession of each drug with the purpose of trafficking. and possession of the proceeds of property obtained by crime.
One was additionally charged with failing to comply with a probation order and a release order.
Both accused were held for a bail hearing.
